Thesedays

Thesedays, many things are changing a lot. Im taking a break from the university and working at the café where I used to only sit down and talk with friends as a parttime job for working holiday.

I don't know what's next coming up and what happen to me. I have no idea.
As a matter of a fact, I'm freaking scared. But at the same time, I'm truly enjoying these everyday challenges.

Hope I can go to working holiday to Canada as soon as possible. And hope my heart is filled with warm-heart feeling.

which side are you in?

I saw this meaningful image on instagram. I think this express everything in life. Sometimes i feel awful what i got, what i've done and who i meet. On the other hand I feel really about same things above. I think life is just like that. If I think about bright side, my life gets better. If not? viceversa.

Like what this picture show , Every single day you make a choice. :)

Which side are you in? Hope you guys are all involved in right side and enjoy your happiness.

what is life?

I don't know really about what is living life. When i read <What men live by> by Neo Tolstoy , it made me realize that men live by love.

But do we really live only by love? what else? what about fame? and also wealth? and human relationship without love?

If homeless men with no penny but much love is truly happy? I don't know what is proper answer for it.

Time flies so fast and it makes me confused more and more.

Two things that i learned from 'The chef'. / Comme un chef, The chef, 2012

안녕하세요! Hello! Bonjour!
haha

This is really amuasant comedy film from france by Daniel Cohen.
Today morning, i was turning the tv channel and found <the chef> was on. That's why i can see this beautiful movie.

This movie is about the two genius cook. Alexandre Lagarde (Jean Reno) and  Jacky Bonnot (Michael Youn).

[From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chef_(film)]

After i watched this movie, I learned really important two things to go through living life.

First, Do what you love

<The chef> just reminds of me 3 idiots(2009,indian movie). One of the important advices in < 3 idiots > is "Follow you dream" and i felt same thing in <the chef>. Jacky is totally crazy about cook. He desperately has to earn money for his pregnant girl friend, but he follows his dream. And like a magic, his career is acknowledged by Alexandre whom Jacky has been respecting, come critics and many people. Also he is happy with his wife and his baby too. He do something amazing by just doing what he love. It looks quite simple.

But in reality, It's not that simple as many people know.
In Korea, many youth are under heavy stress from getting a job. After they graduate university, they have some pressure to get a job, earning money, being proud of their parents and so on.
Even some of them choose death as exit of stress. I saw a new that one Seoul universtiy student suicided herself because of stress from getting a job.I think cause of many reasons i mentioned, many youth just try to get a job without considering what they care and love.

But what is life. Even with amazing science, most of us can not live longer than 100. We have to select our dreams considering what we love. And that makes our life brigter and society better.
To be honest, I'm 21 now. And it's not easy to think about my future job that looks really far away thing and to find out what i love. But i am definitly sure that if i find out what i love, i will do it right away no matter what happen. Because i'm certain that it makes my life very happy.

Second, About Family.

Who can say family isn't important. I'm so happy to hear sizzling sounds with my mother who is cooking for lunch in kitchen now. In <The chef>, we can see many scenes about family. The love to his daughter from Alexandre and the love to his girl friend from Jacky. The one of important power to keep our harsh lives go on is the family. We love our family no matter what happen.

Some people said they can not spend their time with family Because of a lot of work, studying, appintment with friends, just because of tired and so on. Those could not be execuses for not spending time with precious family. We can make a call to our family even in busy situation or can talk in the living room with a cup of tea just for 5 minutes. There are enough time to communicate with them. The reason that you don't have much time to spend with your family is only you (lazy).  We have to spend much time with our family as much as we can. They are gifts from heaven.

'When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses.'

It's such a big pleasure to watch this funny and exuberant movie. It makes me think about my dream job and my precious family. Also it gives me big hope.

Kimchi is side dish not main one :)

김치(Kimchi)

[From wikepedia]

As this smartest dictionary said, Kimchi is korean foodstuff. The first reference about korean eating kimchi can be found in the Chinese Xin Nan Shan . Korean have been eating Kimchi over 3000 years. South Koreans consume 40 pounds (18 kg) of kimchi per person annually.
It means Kimchi is really important dish in Korea.

[Baechu kimchi :배추김치]

Korean do love Kimchi. We think Kimchi is prerequisite for meal.
If there isn't any Kimchi in my meal, it doesn't feel satisfy at all.

We usually serve Kimchi in small plate as side dish. Not the main one :-)
Some foreignors think we only eat kimchi. But that's wrong.

[Wrong way to eat kimchi]
Here's one example of cases.

This brave boy tried to eat Kimchi. But he ate ONLY kimchi.
Even korean who do love kimchi do not eat kimchi seperately. Cause it's quite salty.

If you want to really know the tasteness of Kimchi then you should have it with rice.

The british guy who introduces Korea and UK at the same time in youtube.

Hello! 안녕하세요!

There are many foreignors who loves Korea. But i want to introduce one foreignor who is getting popular in Korea thesedays. He loves Korean so much and also is being loved by many korean at the same time.

His name is Josh. He introduces himself as 영국남자(It means british guy).
He starts making youtube videos for introducing Korean and British culture and also each languages. Josh speaks Englsih and Korean at the same time in his videos. His korean is absolutely gorgeous. When i first saw his video, i was quite surprised at his Korean speaking ability. His korean pronunciation and accent are perfect. I think i can not recognize wheather he is English or korean, if i only listen his speech with my eyes closed. He obviously speaks Koren very well. :-)

He shows his trip, routine, introducing korean foods or products for his british friends. And it's really funny to see british people's reactions.

His videos are hilarious and very useful. As korean, it's really great to know about easy and helpful knowledges about UK. If you see these video, you can gain practical knowledges about UK&Korea and also lots of laughing. :)

I think korean especially like foreignors talking in korean. If there is foreignor talking korean fluently with good-looking? we know the rest.

He's getting really popular. I can easily know this when i see the number of his subscribers growing very rapidly. Even he appeared on korean tv shows several times.

Why i start this blog from Korea.

Hello ! 안녕하세요 :)

My name is Namjoo from Republic of Korea.
저는 대한민국 에서 온 남주라고 해요.

Why i made this blog in google is that i want to share my thoughts and also want to introduce my beautiful country to you.
제가 이 블로그를 만든 이유는 제 생각을 공유하고 싶어서이고 또한 나의 아름다운 나라를 여러분들에게 소개하고 싶어서에요,

My english isn't enough to express what i really want to say. And also my text could make some awkward sentences. Hope you understand. ^ㅇ^*
제 영어는 제가 정말 말하고 싶은 것을 표현할 수 있을 만큼 충분하지 않아요. 또한 제 글은 몇 어색한 문장들을 만들 수도 있어요. 다들 이해해 주길 바래요.
